Ordering and Shipping


In addition to the shopping cart on the website, you are welcome to call (832-455-4269) or email (giovannaimperia@icloud.com) us with your order or questions.  You can also purchase by visiting our studio at 208 Emerson, Houston, Texas 77006.  But do call to make an appointment.

Items not in stock:

At times, we may run out of some the items you have ordered.  You will be notified via email when items are not in stock.  We will also let you know how long it may take to receive those items.  As a general rule, since all our yarns come from overseas, you should expect a delay of 2-3 weeks.   We will gladly hold your order until the out of stock items arrive, or we will be happy to do separate shipments.  If you choose separate shipments, your final invoice from us will reflect additional shipping charges.


There is a discount of 10% for all orders over $200.


All pricing is listed in USD. We accept all the major credit cards including American Express. Please make sure you are using the correct billing address in the “billing address” section, and the correct shipping address in the “shipping address” section. Otherwise, we will not be able to send your order or process your credit card. Orders are shipped only after payment has been received.

We will process payment only when your completed order is ready to ship.  

Shipping and Handling:

Handling is included in the shipping charges.

We use UPS or USPS for shipments within the USA including Alaska and Hawaii.  We use the Postal Service Priority Mail for all international orders including Canada. To keep international shipping charges as low as possible, we will attempt to fit your order in small flat rate envelopes or boxes:

  • US (Up to 1lb): $10.50
  • US (Up to 1-3lb): $13.00
  • Canada USPS Flat Rate Priority Small: $25
  • International USPS Flat Rate Priority Small: $35
If shipments are heavier than what shown above, or the order does not fit in a small priority mail box/envelope, we will recalculate shipment charges and charge the correct amount at the time of the final invoice which will be emailed to you.
Please note that the majority of our yarns are wound on cones.  Therefore, the shipping weight includes the weight of the cone -- which normally runs around 1 oz.  
We will do our best to pack your items carefully.  But we cannot guarantee whether shipping services will handle packages as carefully.

Delivery times:

UPS 3-day select and USPS priority mail typically delivers within the Continental US in 3-5 days. International USPS Priority Mail has an estimated delivery time of 5-10 days. However, there is a lot of variation from country to country due to the local postal services schedules.

Contact us via email if you prefer a faster service (e.g. Express). We will let you know the cost and the correct shipping amount will be charged to your credit card along with your order.

We are not responsible for replacing or refunding an order if a package is not located at the given delivery location after delivery has been confirmed by UPS or USPS system.


An automatic confirmation that your order has been received will be emailed to you immedetialy.


Please note that an electronic invoice will be emailed to you when the order is being processed and ready to be shipped.  This will reflect the final amount that will be charged to your credi card.  We are committed to be as green as possible.  Therefore, no paper invoices will be included in the shipment and all the shipping content, including the cones, are recycleable. Save the electronic invoice for your files.  

International Duties:

We are not responsible for brokers’ fee or duty tax, which may occur for international shipments.
