We offer two types of elastic silk from Japan.  The first is a blend of silk and Elite’ and comes in Black and White only.  It has a shrinkage 0f 30-35%.  If used in the warp, you may want to warp separately so that you can better control tension.  Epi: 30-45

The second  yarn is a blend of silk and polyurethane and will shrink 50% or more depending on the structure you select.  It comes in 10 beautiful colors. Note that this yarn is EXTREMELY elastic and may be more challenging  as a warp.  Also, it is not suitable for machine knitting.  If used in the warp, you must keep it in constant tension while warping and threading.
