One of our Italian mills has given us access to two wonderful cotton crepe yarns —  S  twist (Supertube) and Z twist (Tube). Use either by themselves or combine the two for a different look. Anne Field as an interesting discussion in her book on using crepe yarns with different twists.  They are strong enough to be used as warp as long as you do not put too much tension on the warp.  Epi: 40+

They can also be used in machine knitting.  You may have interesting effects if used in braiding (primarily flat braids) and knitting.   If planning to dye or overdye this yarn, please do so after finishing your cloth

We have not had a chance to test this yarn, but we estimate that it will collapse around 40% after wet finishing in warm water.

Additionally, we carry a beautiful linen crepe yarn from Italy which can be easily dyed.  It is also sold in 1 oz cone (800 yards).  Epi: 30-40
